No Comparison

Isaiah 46:5-7 (CEV) 5 Can anyone compare with me?  Is anyone my equal? 6 Some people hire a gold smith and give silver and gold to be formed into an idol  for them to worship. 7  They carry the idol on their shoulders,then put it on a stand, but it cannot move.They call out to the idol when they are in trouble, but it doesn't answer, and it cannot help.

We're  always searching for  something to be  connected  to; We  look to social status so that we may feel important,  relationships to  validate us  or material things to project an  image of always being up on the  latest things.  By placing these things on a pedestal  we  create our  own idols and end up distracted from finding truth in  who we are but more importantly whose's we  are.


 Listen, no matter what  or  who you attempt to use to  fill your life up with,  nothing  will every  validate you as much as  the  love  of Christ; His love is matchless making everything   minute  by comparison.   Remember being distracted  comes as no  coincidence  and  is a  dangerous place to be  for a believer. Our connection with  God is  vital  it sets the pace for our lives and  equips us to walk out our destiny. It  is  imperative to  crave out time for God so that  He can fill you up to the point where you have no room to get get caught up  on  what the world deems as  important. 


 One of  the  elders at  my church  made an eye opening   point:  "God isn't the only one  that has  a plan for your  life ".    One of the biggest tricks of the enemy is to  get you  distracted  so that  you will lose   focus of your purpose  so that he  can  pull  you  further away from God.   Resolve today that you will no longer  allow the enemy  write out  the plan for your  life.  Trust  God   fully and allow  him to continue to good works  he started inside  of you so that you may live to  your full potential.
