A Change of Plans

People plan their path, but the Lord secures their steps. Proverbs 16:9 (CEB)

Our  plans and  Gods plans   at times  differ. We  may have a  plan for our lives  where we  should be by  a particular  age, where we should work or live; But  life  takes a turn and  sometimes the plans we  have  don't  match  where  God has  us currently.  Where you are in your life right now is a important part of your story and  in this season of your life there are things that you need to learn about  yourself and through  spending time with God you will learn  how to better navigate through life moving forward. So don't miss this opportunity  to absorb all that God  is  preparing your for.  Remember, a delay in your  dreams   doesn't always means that the answer is   no but think of the delay as a  chance  to  become  more  mature and fully  prepared to  maintain your dreams.

Giving Up Isn't An Option

No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us! Romans 8:37(GNT)

Sometimes  when  plans fall through  we  lose  confidence in ourselves and our abilities, especially  when you've put  a lot of time and efforts in to a project that  is unsuccessful.  You're first thought may be to give up  completely  give up on your dream but I want to encourage you to  keep going. You'll find in so many stories of successful  business owners that they have tried to launch  several projects that have not worked out  for one  reason of another  but in spite of those plans falling through giving up was not  a option.  God has given each of us  purpose in the earth and remember that  the  road to success is  a process that  may take some time.  So  keep going, if  God has given you this  dream then He will see it  through to it's completion.

Why Letting Go of Anger Is Important.

If you become angry, do not let your anger lead you into sin, and do not stay angry all day.  Don't give the Devil a chance. Ephesians 4:26-27 (GNT)

Anger is a emotion that  can quickly  cloud our  judgement and  cause us to say or do things without  a lot  thought.  Often  we waste so much time  trying to defend our  pride that we  neglect to take a  step back and sort through  our  thoughts.  Emotions are fleeting so it is  vital that we don't allow how we feel in that  moment to  build  to the point  where we allow it to ruin relationships and keep us  isolated. The intensity of  how you feel in that moment  often times  is bound to  change at some point.

Don't waste another day carrying  around  bitterness and  pain. Instead  take all that is  in your heart and mind to God and  allow Him to shift your heart and grant you clear thinking.  One of the  enemies  missions is to sever our families  and  relationships with others through causing  division over meaningless confrontations. Don't give the enemy a foot hole into your mind and your relationships. We  all need each other and our  connection to one another  is important. So  today if you are holding on to anger resolve it, be determined to fight for your relationships.

Different Path With The Same Destination

If you hurt others because of something you eat, then you are no longer acting from love. Do not let the food that you eat ruin the person for whom Christ died! 16 Do not let what you regard as good get a bad name. Romans 14:15-18 (GNT)

As  believers  we each have a  our own individual  road to  finding Christ and knowing Him for ourselves.  No two stories are  exactly the same  but the end goal remains the same which is to  continue to  grow and mature  in  our  faith one day at a time. What we  must keep in mind is that because  each of our  stories are different we must be careful of how we  judge other believers and their  relationship with Christ. One of the  major  issues in the  body of Christ is  rejecting  others who's  walk with the Lord doesn't mirror our own.  Remember,  God  created each of us  uniquely and He  knows exactly how to communicate with us and how to draw us  closer to Him.  So  we must be careful not to discourage or  reject  each other but  instead we  should lift each other up. Now, If you find that you have some  concerns with the direction that  a friend or loved one is going in, before you bring it up to them  first  bring all your  concerns  to God.  If  He leads you to  say something then  move forward  as He leads you but make sure it's  done in love and with  compassion.

Love & Sacrifice

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (NKJV)

All pictures are taken and edited by Lesli Allyn Blogs unless otherwise stated.

God gave us  one the  best examples that love  sometimes  means  sacrifice.  Through  God's love for us  He gave us  Jesus and   through  Jesus'  love for  us He gave His life on the cross.  So  we   now   have everlasting life and  our sins  are covered.  Within our own relationships we   must be willing to  see beyond our own needs and learn to  be  willing  give our time,  attention, love and resources to  maintain  balanced relationships. If you're only  seeking to solely  have  your needs met then you're missing the full  picture of what love is.

I understand that some are put off by the word  sacrifice so let's  shift your  perception.  To experience  love  through sacrifice means  you're  proactive about serving  others,  you make yourself   available when there is  a need even if that means  moving some things around in your schedule and lastly giving without  expectation of receiving  something back in  return. When you walk these things out you  may not get the response that you think you deserve but  don't allow that to  harden your heart. Know that  God see's  the work you're doing and He will reward your efforts.

Beating Fear

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1 (NIV)

All pictures are taken by and edited by Lesli Allyn Blogs unless otherwise stated.

These days we are experiencing  a  lot.  We  see so much going on in the news or  maybe there are things in our personal lives that   keep us  anxious  and  fearful.  It is easy to get  caught  up and to allow  fear to steal our joy.  But  fear  doesn't have  to defeat, us we can  turn it  around  by attacking  our  fears with  Gods  promises.  In  Isaiah 43:1  God  says He has redeemed us, called us  by name and declares that we are  His! There is  no better  feeling of security  than  knowing that  the same God that created the heavens and earth , molded us with His hands,  and gave  us  Jesus  Christ  promises to  stand with us  through anything we  will face.  We  can have bold confidence to meet every fear with the power of  God behind us!

Pushing Past Life's Obstacles

I can endure all these things through the power of the one who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13 (CEB)

All pictures all taken and edited by Lesli Allyn Blogs unless otherwise stated.

We've   all come to a point where we  have  reached the end of our rope and  we just  want to give up. Life can get  hectic with all the  responsibilities  that we have and  the desire to reach,  perfection can cloud our vision.  Perfection is  not what we should be striving for  because  perfection begin and ends with Christ. But through Him we are fully equipped to  endure any obstacle because  with Christ all things are possible and  we are able to  push through  life's  obstacles.  You've  come too far to just give up; Shift your focus from your problem to your solution which is  submitting our concerns to God and  trusting Him to  work things out.
