Pray.Trust.Let Go!

Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks.Philippians 4:6 (GW)

Sometimes we  have the  tendency to  pray about our circumstances  and  put our  focus on the  issue   instead of   praying and putting our focusing on God.  Trust me I get it,  you may have been believing and praying for  something for  a long  time  and nothing has happened yet. What  I have learned from my personal experience is that I must trust  Gods timing over my own.  Believe me  I know how hard it  is to let go but what  I've realized over the years is  that  it's even more  burdensome to continue to carry  around  the  anxiety  attached to my  problems.

God  never  intended  us to  weighed  down by the circumstances of  life. He ask that we  come to Him with our  request and  trust Him.  So don't be  discouraged by the  process, there are things along the way that you need to learn in order to arrive at your  breakthrough fully equipped.  So in the meantime Take this time  to  ask  God what  it is that  you need to  learn  while your going through this  transition period and ask that He  fill your life  with His  purpose for your life so  that your  focus won't  be on your own timetable.

Open Communication

In my trouble I called to the Lord.I cried out to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my call for help reached his ears.                               Psalm  18:6 (NCV)

I  don't  believe in luck or   happenstance;  But   I do firmly  believe  in sincerely  seeking  God through  prayer  and  the Lords  ability to meet me  at the point  of  my needs.  We are   blessed beyond measure   because the Lord has opened a  line of  communication  with us through  prayer.  We  can confide in Him with our  deepest  concerns; we can  trust Him with our heart, our   pain as well as  our weaknesses  and His love remains the same.

He  never views  us  any differently  because of the areas we fall short in. His  compassion  is simply amazing. When  we come before the  Lord and  pour  our  heart  out  there is  no  need  to  clean things  up and    project ourselves in  a certain light  because  we are  concerned about   how  God  will react  to our pain.    The  Lord  accepts us  just  as  a loving  and  kind Father  would and He  cares about the things are on our hearts.

One of the  great things  about  the Lord is  His  ability   to completely  turn things around  in our life: There are no   big  jobs in His eye's, the question  we should ask ourselves is   if  our  faith is too small?  Do we   trust  the  Lord  enough to  be really  honest about  where we are and admit  that  we  need   His help?  There is  no  weakness in  admitting  that   you need help so don't  allow your  pride to keep you stuck in one place when God is  more than willing to take on your issues and  move you forward.

Why  spend so much  time trying to sort through your own issues  when you could  be  spending that  time   at the  feet of  the Lord.  Give your worries to  the  God and leave them there in His capable hands.  Today I encourage you  to  receive   His  peace and His  joy which  will sustain you.  Remember  that  his  peace and his joy are  things that will never diminish and  you can   rest  knowing that He has everything   thing handled.

Test of Your Faith

My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience. James 1:2-3(NCV)

All  photos belong to and edited by Lesli Allyn Blogs unless otherwise stated.

When you read    James 1:2  it   can  be a  difficult  concept to wrap your mind around. I don't know about you but  when I  read this  I have  some questions.  How  can   I  find  joy  within my  troubles?  My  situation isn't  fun,  I am  uncomfortable  and  what I am dealing with  is hard.  When you get to  verse 3 it  makes  things   a bit more clear,

"Troubles test your faith, and  this will give you  patience"

While you are  feeling  anxious and you don't know  how  or  when  things  will  work out  ask yourself ,  will you stand firm in your faith  and  trust  that the Lord will get you through it   will you pass the  test of faith?  When you are  going through  a  rough  time    it  forces you   out of your  comfort  zone   and  you must  decide that  your  problem isn't  bigger than    God's ability  to  sustain you.

Trusting  God's plan for  our lives   requires   a lot  patience  from us because  we must completely let go  of our own  logic and totally  rely  on  God's timing.  We  often  view  letting  go as   defeat   and  we  struggle with  not  being in  control.   The truth  is   that   we  can only  win when we  let go and  believe that  God is in the midst of your  trails  working things out on our  behalf.

Don't  be  mislead by  defeating thoughts that try to weigh you  down or the  things that  try to  distract you from moving forward.  God  would never  allow you to    go through a  trail  that  had  no  purpose.  Every things that you have gone through or  are  currently  going through is  a  stepping stone towards  and stronger  more  patient you.    Don't  despise  the process just  trust  God and He will take  care of  the  rest.

Let God Fill Your Voids

Then Jesus said, “I am the bread that gives life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.John 6:35 NCV

All  pictures are taken and edited by Lesli Allyn  Blogs unless otherwise  stated.

Over the  years I've  learned   that  the Lord is   the only one that  can  really  renew  me from the inside out.   Everything else that I've  tried to   use  to  fill voids   only  work for so long  and  before  I   knew it   I  realized that  I  haven't  filled the  void  at  all  but I've only  covered it temporarily.

For  a heart that  is  broken  and  a spirit that is  shaken there  is nothing  like the  loving  touch of   Christ.  Jesus  promised that  those  who  seek Him  will  have  life   and  that He  would  fill every  area in our lives where we  are  experiencing  lack. This is good  news,  it means that we don't have to  carry pain,  we don't  have to be  weighed  down by  the burdens  of  life  because  the   Lord  is   willing  to take on everything that  is weighing us  down.

I can tell you from   personal experience that  when  you use  your own  methods to  cope with  life's up's  and  down's it  will always  lead  you back to where you  started in the first place.  A broken heart and loneliness will try to  convince you that  a relationship, people and things will make things better; But  I'm  here to tell you that those things are  only temporary  quick fixes.  When  we really   let  go and  trust  God with  our pain  He  will masterfully  mend every piece of your fractured  heart.

Don't waste  another  day or  another  moment  trying to sort things out on your  own,  surrender   it  all to  the  Lord  today.   Declare that every thing that   has kept  you pressed  down  has  to be  submitted  to the  power  of Christ.  With  the  Lord  on  our  side  there is  nothing that  we  cannot    overcome and  with Him we win.   Don't  give up, continue to worship your way through it and  know that  the Lord will  guide  you to the other side of your pain right into victory.

You are A Walking Miracle

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart.I will tell all the miracles you have done. Psalm 9:1 (NCV)

All photos  are  taken  edited  by Lesli Allyn Blogs  unless otherwise stated.

Your life  is  a miracle, you may  not  have  ever  thought of your  life as a  miracle  but it is. Every day that  we wake up,   every breath  that  we    take  even  when  we  take His provision  for granted, the Lord remains the  same  and  never changes  who He is.  It is   a  testament to  his   goodness   and  the depth of his  love for us.  It is  a blessing to be  called his. God  looks at  us  and  see's  our purpose and we  are  valuable in His  eye's.

Think about it  this way,  without  the Lords  hand on our  lives  where would we  be , how  would  we  even  begin to survive the  storms in our lives?  I'm  sure if you took  a  moment  to  look over events in your life   you will   find   that  there where times  where  you were  unsure of how   things would  come together but  God  opened a  door,  set up  the right meetings  and  things worked out.

We all have  story to tell  and our  story is  worth sharing  with others.    It  vital to the growth of the  body  of Christ to  be transparent  and share  our  testimonies. Your  testimony  can  give hope to someone  who  is  going through something that you've  experienced or  it  could be  the  nudge  that  someone needs to   accept  Christ.

God  has  been  more than   amazing to me  and I know that   many  can  say the  same thing about  God in their  lives.  If  you haven't  already today, take the  time to   thank  God  for   loving you as  you are  and  for  never  leaving  you  to sort  through your  own issues and   hangup's   alone.   God has  been  so faithful even  as  we  fall short  the  Lord hasn't  lost  sight of  us for one moment.  We  are  all walking miracles.  Share your  story with someone today,  in  person or  over social  media.  It  doesn't matter how you do it just  take  advantage of  the moment  and  share  the  goodness of  God today.

No Looking Back

13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do:(A)forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for (B)the prize of the upward (C)call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 ESV

You know,  in  life we  face so many different circumstances; From broken relationships,  family drama,  to financial  hardships.  It's  easy to  become  cynical  and  compare our   future to our past.   The truth is   what  separates our future from our past is our outlook.  Just because a series of   unfortunate  events happened   does not mean our  future has to play out in the same manner.

Where is your focus, Is it on  Christ and His  abilities or   on you  and  your own  abilities ?  The  Lord is able to take all the  pieces of your  past  and  turn them into a  path that  leads you to  growth. He  will grant you  the  wisdom   that  will aide  you in  the future  but you must  be willing to shift your  focus.  Looking back on  your  past  and  thinking of ways things could have  turned out differently  will only leave you  disheartened  because  we  don't   have the power to rewrite the  past  but    putting your  trust in the Lord  will propel towards  His purpose for your  future.

17 Therefore, if anyone is (A)in Christ, he is (B)a new creation.[a] (C)The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2Corinthians 5:17 ESV

There was   a  purpose for your  pain everything you've gone through served a purpose to get you  to   this  place.  I want to encourage you to see  your past  as   a  reference  point and not  your  final  destination. It is so  comforting to  know that  through  trusting  the Lord  and  His   plans  for our lives  we are able to  dust  ourselves off and   move forward with a  clean  slate.   God has  so much  more in store  for  us , more than  we  could ever begin to  wrap our  minds  around.   So don't  waste another  day  dwelling  the old  and  move  ahead .

No looking back!

Are you Self-led or God-Led ?

Picture taken and edited by: Lesli Allyn Blogs

Psalm 143:10 (CEB)  Teach me to do what pleases you, because you are my God Guide me by your good spirit into good land.

With every new   season comes new  lessons  and  a period of  trial and error .  One of the biggest  mistakes   we  make   is attempting to figure things out all on our  own  and   pushing  through without  allowing  God to  lead the way.

Humility recognizes  the  need for  the leading of  the holy spirit  and asking for help.  Being stubborn  in a  time where you need to hear from  God the most  is not only counterproductive but  you'll find that the  process will take  even longer.   We  get so  caught up on   the why and  and how   of your issues that  we  forget  about who   has the power to deliver  us  and where I  focus should be.   Focusing  on the  obstacle    will ultimately   distract you  from what  God is  trying to  do  in you,

Trust me, I know that  life happens  and  when you have more questions than answers you just want a an  instant fix.  In theory  a  insta-fix  sounds  great but  what you miss out  on in the nuggets of wisdom that God  is trying   show you along the way that  will build you up.    The truth is that  a  quick fix  is  more like putting a small bandage onto a  large  wound what you need is to be healed, poured into and set back on the  path that  God has  set out for you.

Trusting  God with your  progress with allow you to reap all the tools of  wisdom  that will take you from this  season   into the next. You have to  make up in your mind weather  you want to direct or  led  out  of  issue you are  experiencing ; Believe  the two have  very different outcomes.  Let's not take that chance  and resolve to allow  God be the captain  of our  life   because He is  the most  qualified   to  steer us into  the  good land that He has prepared.

Love,
